We are not the only ones who think that AI is an exciting thing. So it’s no wonder that more and more great events are being held on the subject. For example, the recent “Artificial Intelligence Theme Festival”. Organized by Hamburg Kreativ Gesellschaft mbH, the festival took place from 19 to 23 February 2024 in Hamburg’s SPACE, an innovation space for creatives and technology enthusiasts at nextMedia.Hamburg. Everything revolved around AI on several stages in workshops, keynote speeches, panels and sparring sessions. Hamburg was the center of the AI world for an entire week – and we were there for you. Here we had plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas with like-minded people, meet new people and expand our network.
From legal insights to visual prompting: the diversity of the AI themed festival in Hamburg
The lineup was extremely broad and diverse: managing directors, new leaders, young professionals, founders, creatives – including numerous renowned names. We were offered a wide range of contributions. These included the presentation of new AI software, presentations on the topic of prompting, discussion rounds and insightful information on the current challenges in the area of copyright and data protection. Of course, you could not only listen and learn, but also join in and celebrate. For example at after-show events, dinners, prompt battles or exhibitions. All of this is completely free of charge.
Hamburg as a hotspot for AI innovation: review of a great themed festival
One of our highlights was definitely the contribution by Dr. Bahne Sievers, LL.M. and Eva Kasprowicz from the law firm Fieldfisher, who gave us in-depth insights into the legal aspects of artificial intelligence. Another highlight was the appearance of Lars Reiners, Senior Visual Prompt Artist at Jung von Matt. He shared his experiences and techniques in the creative use of AI and offered us exciting insights from the world of visual prompting. Topic: visual art and communication. The presentation by Prof. Peter Kabel, Founding Partner at cogniwerk, was also extremely interesting. Prof. Kabel presented his latest AI software and demonstrated its potential for the future. It is fascinating to see how far the boundaries for the application of artificial intelligence can already be pushed in the various sectors.
